7. I was born and grew up outside of the Philippines, but I have pure Filipino blood and I am not good in Filipino, can I still join?
PBB housemates will not be provided with interpreters, so if one housemate or scholar will have a hard time expressing himself / herself to the other housemates or scholars, it will be to his/her disadvantage.

No, we only require applicants to be at least conversant in basic Filipino language.

Yes, you can audition more than once but not on the same audition date.

No, the same mechanics used for the global search will be the same as the mechanics used for the local search.
11. Will there be a talent portion during the auditions? Can I bring props and back-up performers during my talent showcase?
It will be the discretion of the panel if they will require the applicants to showcase their talent. No, auditions will be for free.

Yes, your utmost show of support for your family members or friends is highly encouraged before and after the audition. But during the audition proper, only the applicants will be allowed on the venue and judging.
20. I cannot make it on the auditions schedules, can I request for a private audition?
No. Apart from the fact that it would be totally unfair to the applicants who bothered to attend the scheduled auditions, the production team will not have time once those have ended. At that stage, they will be busy deliberating on the final list of the three shows.
21. I need to travel quite some distance in order to attend an audition; will everyone be seen by the producers?
Well, in a literal sense the answer is probably yes. The production team will certainly be scouring the queues for likely candidates and will be talking to people who catch their eye or sound 'interesting'.
However, just to re-iterate, not everyone will make it to the second round and only those people in-whom the producers are sufficiently interested will be invited for a chat/interview. It doesn't matter whether you are at the front or the back of the queue, you stand just as much chance of being noticed.
22. What happens if I actually make it to the second round?
Once told by the producers that you made it to the second round, you will be given the chance to sell yourself and to let the producers know why they should pick you to go into the Pinoy Big Brother house.
23. What should I bring with me to the auditions?
Depending on how well you do and how many people turn-up, it could be quite a long day. Therefore, it will probably pay to bring some light food and drink with you, along with some warm clothing and a pair of comfy shoes.
24. I'm going on a vacation to the Philippines, probably during the schedules of the three shows, can I still audition?
Yes, you may still audition. And if you are chosen to be the Global Housemate, your round trip travel to the Philippines will be courtesy of Pinoy Big Brother. It’s just that instead of vacationing, you will have to be inside the Big Brother House for the competition.
